Short but not too short, academic but not dry and tedious, an exploration of the library beyond the book, including reading rooms, mobile library, and community-centers in western civilizations. Worth a re-read. Has pictures. Great for any lover of libraries.

First half is an overview of (mostly) self-managed companies - you might get a better overview in Corporate Rebels. Second half is practical how-to.
Seems like it would be better for the practical reader to skip to the second half, but if the reader has not yet read Corporate Rebels the first half is good to have.
